MTC PBL competitors headed to nationals | Events
MOULTRIE, GA – News release from Moultrie Technical College
The Moultrie Campus chapter of Moultrie Technical College’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) student organization traveled to Atlanta April 13-15 to participate in the 2012 PBL State Conference and Competition.
Phi Beta Lambda is a student organization which promotes business and leadership skills.
By placing either first or second in a state PBL performance event, three MTC Moultrie Campus students qualified to compete at the national conference to be held in San Antonio, Texas, in June.
The 3-man team of John Lamie, Jason Doughtry and Jason Parten garnered a first place slot in business presentation.
Lamie and Doughtry also brought home second place honors with Lamie in impromptu speaking and Doughtry in computer concepts.
Lamie, Doughtry and Parten will continue on to the national competition.
Dustyn Rudolph took fourth in networking concepts, while Joseph Beal also placed fourth in the business presentation arena.
