WWII veteran battles VA over disability payments
ALBANY, GA- An 86-year-old World War II veteran from South Georgia is having his monthly pension garnished by the Department of Veterans Affairs to pay back disability payments he received.
The Bronze Star winner and his family dispute the Department's decision but say their appeals are buried in government red tape.
John Craft is having nearly $600 dollars a month of his postal pension check garnished each month by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
